I visited your stand at Crufts on Saturday and have to say was very impressed with your harnesses. Your advice on the correct harness to use for our Labrador puppy was great and I’ll be sending you his details very shortly to order a ‘perfect fit’ harness and possibly one for our older lab too! After struggling to find a decent fitting harness in previous years, it was a relief to speak to someone who thought along the same lines and gave sound advice. Obviously our dogs are very important to us and we want to make sure they are as comfortable as poss. I’ve passed your details on to my dog walker too as she may be interested. Anyway, thanks once again for your advice and I’ll be in touch soon. Kind regards Annette

I would like to thank you for the Perfect Fit Harness that you sent me when I had to return the 1st harness, due to not fitting my dog (she has a deep chest). This one fits perfectly, it does exactly what it says on the tin.

I was very impressed with the sevice and your patience with me. Thank you for the extra cards which I started to hand to people when they comment on the harness.

Holly is a wire-haired pointer X labrador. She is my assistance dog and wears the harness when we go to the woods.

As promised a picture of Bruno the (Pyrenean Mountain Dog) with his Perfect Fit Harness which you fitted on Sunday at Westonbirt.

He loves it - we love it!

Just to let you know I received the size 5 Fleece Lined Harness and 1m lead today for my English Bull Terrier male..and fit is great and looks so comfy, and lead feels great. I am very pleased with purchase and am thinking of buying another for my female in the brown as she is red/white. Mandy
Just wanted to drop this quick email to say that not only am I delighted with my dog's (Cassie) new Perfect Fit Harness, I am also over the moon with the speed of delivery. Cassie "lost" her other dog-games harness yesterday, still trying to figure out where, and so a new one was a priority. Thank you very much for such a quick service. What a life saver. Sheila
There are several things that I would like to bring to your attention.
I purchased one of your fleece harnesses at the UKA Agility Show at Staverton nr Cheltenham last year, little knowing that it would help to save our dogs life.... We went on a narrowboat holiday the end of last September, and what a good idea to put Woody's harness on, and to be kept on, especially whilst we were travelling and especially when manoeuvring the boat. Of course he wanted to be with "mum" so in a panic would jump ashore with me, whenever a lock or swing bridge had to be dealt with, which in our case turned out to be 150 locks and 22 swing bridges, in two weeks !!! Anyway, he fell in three times, the first time nearly giving me heart failure as we were coming in to shore to drop me off and it looked very possible that our darling doggy was going to get squished. But for the harness being on and strong enough to haul a very soggy panicking springer spaniel out of the water, I think we might have lost him. Once we got into a routine, ie jumping ashore at the same time and with his lead on, it became a piece of cake, and we had no more mishaps.
Since then, I have highly recommended your harness to everyone, which brings me to asking you if you could send me a few business cards, as dog walkers rarely have a pen or paper to hand, there being more important things to carry around lik e dog bags and treats !! I do tell them your name for the web site, but I'm sure that its forgotten by the time they get home. I could easily manage three or four business cards in my pocket and wouldn't mind handing them out when needed.
By the way, we were in the Dog Games Beginners Steeplechase final, and came about 16th, not bad for a spaniel up against the turbo charged collies !! It was fun anyway, which is what it should all be about ! Lee
The harness and lead arrived safely this morning. Thank you for your help on the phone the other day – it was much appreciated. As I told you I had previously bought a Lupi harness to try and stop Toffee pulling, taking it off when we arrived at a safe place for her walk. The last time I did that she refused to come back to me – and I put that down wholly to her dislike of it.
HOWEVER, this morning – although she was very reluctant to have the Perfect Fit Harness put on – once it was on and the bungee lead connected – we had a very pleasant walk with hardly any attempt at pulling. This was great as although she only weighs in at 8 kg she is very strong, and when she’s on full throttle lead walking is no fun. Lesley
I bought a fleece harness from you at the Cold Wet Nose Show this year and it is an absolute dream! You may remember me and my dog. I won a Cold Wet Nose Show award for my fundraising. My Collie x GSD was very nervous but he feels so much more confident in his fitted harness, he is so much more confident out on walks. It would be great if more people knew about the wonders of your company. Amanda
Many thanks for exchanging the harness I bought for the correct size - it fits perfectly and looks very smart. We have used it several times now, but I thought you might be interested to know that on our very first walk wearing the new harness we met another dog wearing one as well. The other owner and myself spoke about how pleased we are with them and also about what a good service you provide. Jean

I just wanted to let you know how WONDERFUL your Fleece Lined Harnesses have proved to be for my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I have owned 6 Cavvies since 1992 and looked after many more for friends and neighbours on holiday. Practically every one has had a tendency to pull on the lead and I have spent many months attempting to train them not to (often without a great deal of success I might add!)

Things came to a head this summer when my old girl aged 10 was diagnosed with Syringomyelia and I was advised to switch from a collar to a harness in order to reduce the pressure on her sensitive neck area. One of my local pet shops (Pet Mad in Cowl Street, Evesham) had a supply of your beautiful fleece-lined harnesses, so I treated all 3 of my dogs to a new one each. I just could not believe the result - INSTANT cessation of pulling on the lead!!!!

In particular, I have a very energetic 18-month old with whom I have been working hard for the past 12 months to get her to walk nicely by my side. She could manage a few steps, but then had to be reminded at least every 30 seconds of what we were supposed to be achieving. The first time I took her out I just could not believe my eyes - she just walked steadily by my side for her usual 2 mile constitutional with hardly a word from me (which was just as well because I was too stunned to say much!)

This morning I tried the same exercise with a 5-year old Cavvie who comes regularly to stay with us while owners are away. She has always pulled and strained excessively, walking sideways in a crab-like movement and panting her heart out (not good, as she has the dreaded heart murmur). I'm sure you can guess what I am going to say - yes, a magical transformation from whirling dervish to sedate and happy little dog trotting peaceably along enjoying her walk. Life has been truly transformed for us all!

I'm sure you know that the Cavalier breed is in dire straits at the moment with more and more young dogs being diagnosed with Chiari Malformation and Syringomyelia. Obviously your fleece-lined harnesses must be a tremendous help in taking pressure from their necks and I would like to recommend them to the Cavalier fraternity through the various internet discussion forums which exist, if you agree.

With all best wishes and many thanks for bringing about such a positive change for my beautiful dogs and their pals Marie-Anne

As you can see from the photos I have sent you, my dogs are pretty rough on their harnesses!Dru's main hobbies are digging for moles and she doesn't mind stopping to do it.

Lately, it seems that they are constantly getting all kinds of burrs on them and the harnesses. I am really pleased at the quality of the fleece, it doesn't peel even when they are really stuck in. They have retained their integrity after every wash.

Thanks again for the peace of mind when walking Sebastain (the Podengo on the right) on the Perfect Fit Harness - he was an "escape artist" and wriggled out of every other harness! It's been 2 yrs. since we adopted him and he is really adjusting and doing well. Thanks again, Julie and her dogs - Drusilla, Oliver & Sebastian

I thought you might like the attached photo of my dogs in their Fleece Lined Harnesses which I bought some time ago.

They find them very comfortable and for Tracker (the dog in the red harness) they are particularly ideal as he has a recurring wart on his neck which is rubbed by an ordinary collar. They have stood up well to the damp and muddy conditions of the west coast of Scotland, though we have a spare for Tracker so that he can still have his harness on for walks while one is in the wash.

Both dogs took to the harnesses immediately and if we have to get hold of them quickly, the harness is much better than grabbing round the sensitive neck areas. Thanks for an excellent invention! Best wishes Fiona

Here is a photo of my 8 months old St Bernard cross Labrador in his new 40mm Perfect Fit Harness which you very kindly sent for him, and I must say it is just fantastic, it fits perfect.

Thank you very much and best wishes Alison (Waggy Tails Dog Training Centre Somerset)

I am absolutely delighted with the 15mm Perfect Fit Harness that you sent me. It gives Max a really good fit and I feel our little chap is much more secure, and I think he feels more comfortable too. Many thanks Lindsay
Many thanks for sending the size 3 Fleece Lined Harness so quickly, I ordered it on Sunday and it arrived today (Tuesday). It fits Mimi beautifully. I have just ordered another two for our other French Bulldogs. Best wishes David & Lorna
Question - I have two Yorkshire Terrier pups, one male and one female from the same litter (actually they are 18 months old now!) and I bought two of your Fleece Lined Harnesses which are brilliant. I am trying to find waterproof coats which still enable me to walk them on harnesses - so I need either a coat with a harness attachment or a coat which enables me to use the harnesses I already have, this is proving very difficult! I would welcome any advice as I cannot seem to find any such item on your website and wonder whether or not you do waterproof coats or anything similar? Kind regards, Karen
Answer - I'm afraid we do not make or sell dog coats but I can strongly recommend Trover Coats. They may be able to make a small hole in the top of the coat so that the lead can be attached to the D ring on the harness. Best wishes Sally

The Perfect Fit Harness arrived and it is really lovely, so many thanks for all of your help*. Here is a photo of Jessie wearing her new "cuddle" :-)

I have your website bookmarked to have a look at all the other games and things you do, but for the time being, we're just trying to concentrate on the basics and get her to be a little calmer and more confident on her own. Kindest regards. Jan

* Dog Games note - due to the obvious demand from our "special sized" dog customers we have added medium sized girths in the 15mm Range of the Perfect Fit harness. This will enable whippet type dogs and their crosses (with deep chests but very small and narrow around the top and front) to find a really good fit.
