| This site is amazing! I have a Hungarian
Vizsla puppy and I was very conscious of making sure he has enough physical
and mental stimulation as he will not be a working dog. Wow, I've spent
the last 2 hours reading so much valuable
information not just on games to stimulate him and ease his stress
but how he thinks and functions as a dog and how I can help him socialise
etc. brilliant, keep up the good work. Looking forward to using some
of the games with him. Thank you, Bethany |

I am a foster carer for a Border Collie type dog who displays many stress symptoms and who struggles to cope with aspects of his world. The rescue centre who 'own' him have not been able to offer me much help with his issues, and other experienced dog owners have never seen the type of anxiety that he can sometimes display. The advice so far has not been very useful, and I instinctively have felt that it was not right for him and his issues. However, the advice on your website seems perfect for him because it is based on understanding why he is stressed and what stresses him. I have learnt more in the hour reading through your articles this morning, than I have in the two months I have been with my foster dog. He is amazing in so many ways, but was not given the best start in life. The major issue being his lack of socialisation and therefore lack of skills in communication with other dogs and humans sometimes too. Your website has helped me understand his behaviour so much more, and has given me ideas in how we can handle the 'tough' situations together. Thank you so much. I have posted a link to your website on my blog about my foster dog, and also quoted from your website - with acknowledgements and web links to the info I have quoted. I hope that this will be acceptable to you. If not, then I can remove the quotes - however I thought the links would provide a good advertisement for your extremely helpful website. The blog address is: http://forest-dog-rescue.dogsboard.com/t8p25-jack-border-collie-dog-5-years-old-fostered-in-chorley-bridgnorth Kind regards, Rebecca |

| Thank you very much for sorting out my returns. By the way, you have a great website - the best I've seen to date. Regards. Laraine | ||
| Thank you for sending the assortment of harnesses
for Gracie. I found that the smaller Perfect
Fit Harness is the one for her. I have today posted the other 3
back to you. I would love to be able to send you a photo of Gracie wearing
the harness but sadly she is scared of the "one eyed machine"
so runs away from me! It is only on rare occasions that I manage to
get a shot of her when she isn't looking terrified. However I have included
a photo at the end of the article I have written about her - Gracie
- The Fearful Labrador; she's not exactly relaxed but at least she's
sitting. Sally, thank you for affording me the opportunity to write about Gracie. Anything that brings more awareness to the public about so called 'puppy farms', ( they should be called puppy hell holes) has to be a good thing. Although I dare say that your doggie readers are already aware of the appalling conditions in which these dogs are kept. At least most of the pups, if they're lucky enough to survive, are taken away from their torment, but not the bitches and stud dogs. If I can be of help or support to anyone who has a dog like Gracie I am more than willing to share my experience with them. I can be contacted by e-mail. By the way, I think your web site is excellent. Kind Regards Elizabeth |

I have your website bookmarked to have a look at all the other games and things you do, but for the time being, we're just trying to concentrate on the basics and get her to be a little calmer and more confident on her own. Kindest regards. Jan |

| Thank you so much for the article Raisins and Grapes are Poisonous To Dogs and using an example - sadly so. I have given my Boston Terrier grapes before and strangely he only rolls them in his mouth and holds them in his lips and does not break the skin. I always thought this was strange but now am grateful he NEVER actually ate the grape. I will NEVER let him near grapes and or raisins again. You will have saved many animals lives with this article! Thanks, Gina | ||

| I love your website and the harness is brilliant. My Springer who pulls like a train, (tried everything) is now working on Turid Rugaas method! He's 10 month and hard work, but the best, we love him like no other dog I've ever had!! Best regards Chris | ||

"Just wanted to drop you a line to say I've spent
a fair bit of time on your site and I love it. I so enjoy using Games
to train, dogs and I have so much fun, I just wish more owners would
realise they're not a waste of time. Also love that you use Calming
Signals. Basically, I think the site is excellent and I will be
making sure I can get as many people to visit as possible. Thanks
for helping the dogs." - Samantha, a Holistic Practitioner,
Equine/Canine Trainer/Behaviourist

"Have just discovered your web site via an agility
show schedule when actually saw your
class that everyone in the family will enjoy! Just to say I think
it is a brilliant idea and my daughter, myself and my nephew will
all be forming a little group to work through the tests.
We are all really keen to get started but have decided to make an official little club and as we are moving house in the near future may well wait until the move or at least until the garden is not a bog! A brilliant idea to make dog training fun again and not so overly competitive - we are grateful for the chance to do something achievable but we will still have to work for some of the awards. So well done for your intuitive - long may it continue to be fun to have a dog and not so competitive that it is just not the same as it used to be (like agility!)" - Vanessa |
