I just wanted to say thanks so much for your excellent service for my recent Perfect Fit Harness purchase. I've found everyone at Dog Games very helpful and friendly and this has helped me hugely during my first harness purchase.

I am extremely pleased with the harness as I have problems with my dog pulling but he gets very distressed when we try to use gentle control head collars.

I was so happy to see Drusilla, Oliver and Sebastian (fourth & fifth pictures from the bottom of this web page). I lost Dru and Oliver last year. They were 13 1/2 and 13 yrs. old. They loved their harnesses and used them until the end. Sebastian is still with us. He still wears his harness. I think happy thoughts about you every time they put them on. I just wanted to thank you for keeping their pictures up. I just had a really good cry. I miss them terribly. Thanks again for the harnesses. As Vader is a French Bulldog with a front amputation, Sally fitted him with a 20mm S top and XS front to get a really snug fit around his shoulders, and a M girth.

One of my dogs has just had a total hip replacement, which entails 8 weeks of cage rest along with very controlled and careful lead exercise. I wanted to tell you that her Dog Games Perfect Fit Harness has made things so much easier when taking her out.

She is not very good on a collar and lead and tends to pull, and she is a very lively dog, but with a harness with a front ring, and a double-ended lead, I have had all the control I need to keep her very calm and walking steadily but slowly, even when distractions such as another dog are around.

I have enclosed a picture of her in her harness, using a sling to support her back end. She has just had her 6 week check and post op x-rays and I have been told that she is making remarkable progress. I am sure that this is, in part, due to the fact that doing the rehabilitation walking plan has been made so much easier to follow with the control the harness gives.

I just wanted to say how impressed I have been with your service and Perfect Fit Dog Harness. I've bought a fleece lined collar from you before (again excellent service) but recently decided to try my Border Collie with one of your Perfect Fit Harnesses. He is normally walked on a harness but gets worried about stuff going over his head and so would run away or get all stressed when the time came to put his harness on for walks - despite lots of fun games with the harness - clicker training etc. He'd let me put it on but he still wasn't comfortable really.

However your Perfect Fit Harness is fantastic- it just clips around his neck like a collar so no problem and he happily comes to me to have it put on. No stress, lovely. The option of having an added D-ring at the chest is fantastic also. He wears a perfect fit (20mm large top (camouflage), medium front (black + D-ring), and large girth).

To top it all off I only ordered it yesterday morning and it arrived this morning! Brilliant. :) Many thanks. Lucy

Hello, I have two red cocker spaniels Oscar and Emmy, and became quite desperate for some sort of harness when Emmy developed a skin condition on her neck. I rang Dog-Games when I found their web site and after a lot of very helpful advice placed an order for a 20 mm Perfect Fit Harness (medium top, small front, medium girth). I was so pleased with it I ordered one for her brother Oscar (same size although they are of very different builds). Both dogs swim daily so I really need to get two more for one on, and one in the wash, but they do wash really well and dry quite quickly.

A real plus is that you can also help you dogs get into the car using the back piece - always a problem with tall car but short dog legs. Another real bonus is that neither dogs pulls so much, the girl not at all and the boy not so hard, so a real saving grace for my shoulders....... a bungee lead next methinks. I have attached a photo of Emmy trying out her harness for the first time (still with tags on), but haven't yet caught Oscar ready to pose, don't know if you want one of him as well?

I have a couple of your wonderful harnesses, and I get so many people asking where they can get one when I'm out walking my dog! I absolutely love your harnesses and jump at the chance to recommend them to people, but as most people don't have a pen and paper while out walking their dog, I wondered - do you have any business cards? I figured it would just be easier to take some with me when I go out for walks for when people inevitably ask.

So far the main things that people seem to like are the padding and the high vis colour (Thor is currently wearing a Perfect Fit in high vis yellow). I just think they're so much better than anything you can get in a shop, the padding is fantastic, and the idea of the perfect fit harness is genius, I just love telling people about them! I ordered a 40LML Perfect Fit Harness with the front ring for my boxer, Mya, who is brilliant off lead but very strong on the lead if we see another dog - she gets so excited and tries to bounce in excitement to get to the other dog.

I put the harness on for the first time this morning and for the first time she couldn’t bounce and I didn’t have to try and wrap the lead around my hand 10 times so I could hold her. Best of all it’s really thick and padded and very comfy for her. It also fits so much better than any other harness I’ve tried.

I have already recommended it to someone on my walk this morning and I will continue to do so to any dog owners that ask. It’s perfect, thank you!

Just a note to say a huge "Thank You" for all your help in getting the right harnesses for my dogs.

Billy's Perfect Fit Harness is exactly that - we have tried so may different harnesses on him and this is the only one which fits and doesn't rub him.

Sally is happily wearing her size 2 Fleece Lined Harness withour "freezing" as she has in other harnesses, and has not shown her usual panicky behaviour when approaching other dogs on lead this weekend!

Having tried a good few harnesses for Bailey, my 6 month old Springer Spaniel pup, I am delighted with his perfect fit harness - he wears it happily and it does fit perfectly.

My 10 month old short leg Staffordshire Bull Terrier was a nightmare walking her with a conventional lead and collar. I bought two well branded harness for her but they never fitted. I have been to many pet shops trying on different harness but due to her being a short leg they never fitted properly. I found this Perfect Fit Harness and thought I would put them to the test and see if it is the perfect fit. I am glad to say it is, she has stopped pulling from the moment we left the house on our morning walk.

I came across your Perfect Fit Harness at Crufts and it seems the most comfortable fit I have found for Millie (seen here wearing a 20mm S top, S front with D ring, and S girth). It has the 2 point fixing that Millie responds well to, without having to connect to a collar or head halter. The combination of size options guarantees an excellent fit.

I have recommended your harnesses to many people who have remarked about Millie's harness. Surprising how often we get stopped on walks these days!

Here is a photo of my 8 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Rudy, wearing the Perfect Fit harness. We have had Rudy since she was 6 weeks old and she has gone through quite a few leads and harnesses. As she started to get older I became really concerned that I wouldn’t be able to walk her as, at 6 months old she was very strong and more or less pulled my arm off when walking! I tried a standard collar (which was useless), a half check collar (she snapped it pulling), a pet retailers own branded harness (she pulled) and, finally, a no pull harness (she hated this as it had to go over her head and was tight). As I wasn’t aware of anything else in the market I just continued, with the help of treats, to push the harness over her head. I then started to use a dog trainer who told me about Dog Games and I ordered the “Perfect Fit” harness.

I can honestly say it is like walking a different dog! She doesn’t fear having the lead on as nothing has to be forced over her head. She walks at my side and doesn’t lunge when we pass people in the street and, I no longer have to hold the lead that tight that it leaves marks on my hands. In fact the other day I had the lead on one finger!!! I would highly recommend this lead to SBT owners who, like me, do not want to use the leather and gold harnesses which many people think they need for their dogs. The Perfect Fit harness is easy to put on and, easy to clean. I love this product and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!! Thanks Sian

My dog, a German Shepherd cross can be very strong at times but I have managed much better with this harness. He does seem calmer and it looks good, we have had loads of comments. Deffo recomended.

I would just like to say a huge thank you for my harness, it arrived first thing and I only ordered it yesterday afternoon.

I purchased a Perfect Fit Harness about a year ago for one of my girls at a UK agility show, and loved it! And needed a new harness for my other so went for another. I find them great as they do not come close to the armpits and my girls having very short hair rub easily and the padding stops this.

Also the fact that you can undo 3 buckles to take the harness off is a godsend as Ruby hates things going over her head and there is no need with this. Thank you again.

I originally bought harnesses for my Rough Collies both to use with tracking leads when out walking in open fields, and also as a safety measure to wear with a lead with doing road work (I attach the collar to the harness with a small safety clip), so if one of the dogs are spooked should they escape from the collar they are still attached to the lead with a harness.

But I am delighted to report that the dogs, my tri bitch in particular (Tilly, see photos), is so much more relaxed and calm if other dogs or children approach us while wearing her Perfect Fit Harness. The harnesses are easy to put on, even with my Roughs having such a long thick coat, and it doesn't snag in the harness or cause it to matt.

Great customer service too, would definitely recommend.

Also, the 15mm Perfect Fit Harness - What a brilliant design. I have 2 miniature schnauzers who love to chew their harnesses. The Perfect Fit Harness eliminates this problem as it fits closer to the body than previous harnesses bought. My boys were instantly happier and more relaxed and the pulling on the lead has drastically reduced plus it doesn't slip over their head. Hi Sally, I wanted to tell you that I absolutely LOVE the Perfect Fit Harness that I ordered earlier for my Pitty girl. I ended up getting a small front and width, as the mediums were a bit loose on her, but it's hands down the most well-made harness I've ever seen. It fits her perfectly. I put some moleskin on the edges of the part that goes behind her legs and with your super soft fleece her extremely sensitive skin isn't bothered at all! Are the 15mm D ring fronts available yet? This is Sweep in his size 2 puppy harness and collar in July, now sadly outgrown.

The Perfect Fit Harness is a great replacement though! He's now 5 months old and is a huntaway/collie cross from a working farm in the Lakes, doing brilliantly.

I am getting on really well with the ‘Ring’ at Front Perfect Fit Harnesses with my Boxers ‘Henry’ and ‘Tyla’.

Henry is the one who needed the ring at the front the most, because he is really strong and used to pull a lot (before the new harness), but Tyla is benefiting from his too, as he seems much calmer in this harness than his old one, because he can be nervous of traffic.

Here is a photo of my 5 year old male Dobermann, Talli, wearing his Perfect Fit harness. He weighs 43kg and the 40mm L-M-XL fits him great.

He wore it for the first time on our walk this morning and walked lovely and calmly (he is usually a bit of a puller). We have yet to come across any cats or squirrels (this will be the real test) but I'm feeling quite confident I'll be able to keep him under control as he had a good bark at a delivery man as we came back up the driveway and I was surprised at the lack of strength in his pulling forward, compared to the awful lunge I get with what he usually wears (a half check collar).

He has a suspected problem with a disc in his neck and has had several bouts of neck pain over the last couple of months, so fingers crossed taking the pressure off that area by using the Perfect Fit harness will make a big difference. Thanks again! Angela & Talli

Here is Leo, with his new Perfect Fit Harness. You were recommended to me by my dog behaviourist and author, Winkie Spiers - who is also chairman of the Pet Dog Trainers of Europe.

Leo is a 2 year old Sicilian Mastiff - who weighs 40kg. He is wearing a 40LML - Large (top);Medium (front Y-piece);Large (girth) perfect harness in black - which fits him beautifully. The padding and close fit makes him feel safe (he is a nervous dog generally). Moreover there has been no friction rubbing or shaving off of hairs - as had happened with previous harnesses - even a leather harness for £150 which I bought from a popular franchise pet shop. Leo has sensitive skin and the perfect fit harness doesn't irritate it. Leo has been wearing it for about a month now - and we are totally happy with it so far. He has swam with it on - and it dries out quickly. My friend who owns a larger Sicilian Mastiff than mine was also impressed by your product - and is about to place her order with you too. We came to see you yesterday at Holt Health, with our humans, Pete and Lindsay. We are Milo; black whippet lurcher boy, new to the house and stressed to bits; and Maud; Bedlington lurcher; a fetching fluffy grey girl.

Neither of us were enjoying our walks because we were being choked by a thin collar and a horrid stringy lead respectively! After being fitted with your lovely Perfect Fit Harnesses we have had 24 hrs of walking pleasure, what a difference a day makes. We have both thoroughly enjoyed our walks and Milo wants me to say how much he enjoyed playing the sniff out the treats game. I could see Lindsay had him on a long line but he couldn't tell and was having a great time!! (not so bright is Milo - no Bedlington in him you see, its a shame for him really) He was whacked by the time we got home!! Barney, our 5 month old black Labrador Retriever, and us went to a dog show where your stand was. We looked at getting and trying a new harness as our Barney never got on with his other ones - always tried to get them off, which was a pain. We found your stand very helpful and I could not belive my eyes when Barney got fitted in the harness, he loved it and it did not bother him one little bit. It was good for us too as he did not seem to pull so much.

I've been skeptical about using padded harnesses, as I always thought it will just make it more comfortable for the dog to pull, but actually it doesn't have that effect with my dog. It fits fine, she seems calmer when walking down the road and doesn't pull at all, and even though she still barks at other dogs, its a lot easier to pull her back into position and keep her walking. Thank you for sending the two different sizes of front pieces of the Perfect Fit Harness for me to try on Poppy. After several fittings, during which Poppy stood patiently, we decided that the XXS front fitted her best. As the harness does not need to go over her head (it fits in a similar way as her car harness) there are no protests when we try to put it on her - which is great. As I write this she is running round the house getting used to it and waiting for the walk I have promised her! This will enable whippet type dogs and their crosses (with deep chests but very small and narrow around the top and front) to find a really good fit.

Lizzie is a Chinese Crested, but very small, weighing just 3 kilos. It is adjustable so that it can accommodate her winter coat - Very useful! Vickie

Many thanks for your patience and the sending of the choice of 2 different sizes of Perfect Fit Harness for my whippet to try. They are a great fit and I am sure very comfortable for the dogs, there is a better control over the dogs when walking - especially when we meet cats (plentiful from when we step outside our door!) and no rubbing of the dogs under arms (as it were) that you get with the standard webbing harnesses.

I wish to say a big thank you for your help in getting the Perfect Fit Harness for both of my Japanese Chins, Mishka and Daisy.

It is so much easier for the chins as they don't pull on their tender throats and no longer snort as we go for our walks.

Thank you for sending the variety of Perfect Fit Harness pieces so that I could find the right fit for Sebastian, the Podengo Medio, who is the escape artist. He ended up fitting the 20mm M top, M front, L girth. I love his Perfect Fit . He panics sometimes and does this standing, twisting , backing out thing of his old harnesses - he did NOT get out of this new harness :-)

Drusilla my Airedale LOVES her new pink size 5 Fleece Lined harness!! She doesn't even care when I put it on her, she hated having her old one put on. They both looked so adorable and comfy. They look so candy colored when they are walking! I can't wait to order Oliver his!! My husband thought that Dru seemed much more comfortable on her walk and Sebastian's skin isn't getting rubbed raw!

We think that the Perfect Fit Harnesses are absolutely wonderful - so easy to put on and very secure. (And very smart, too!)

One of the greyhounds at the rescue where we volunteer is extremely nervous, but when we put the harness on him he seemed to be a lot calmer! The lady who runs the rescue is very impressed with the harnesses, and will be mentioning them to people who adopt dogs that pull or are nervous.
