However, we are only able to give suggestions and explain why dogs behave the way they do. Specific advice needs to be sought from a qualified dog behaviourist -

who SHOULD -

Not only ask the "right" questions but also be a good listener so that they really understand what you are saying
Visit the dog's home and watch the dog's body language and behaviour in its normal environment
Really get to understand the dog's whole character, lifestyle and routine before discussing suitable "answers" with the dog's owner.
Never forget that YOU know your dog best - you live with him day and night - and it is your responsibility to protect him from harm so you should always trust your instincts - IF IT FEELS WRONG, DON'T DO IT!
