Many thanks for your enquiry about our harnesses. These type of harnesses are designed to be a walking harness and have not been specifically tested as a car harness (very few harness designs are actually properly tested for use as a car safety restraint).

My personal recommendation is that if you wish to buy a car harness for your dog you should buy one which is specifically designed for the task.

Also, proper car harnesses are the wrong shape and design for walking the dog on a lead - they are built to prevent the dog being thrown forward when the car stops suddenly.
