Fleece Lined Collars - for all sizes of dogs & cats
At last! A wide, soft & secure collar that your dog will love wearing!
What is so special about these collars?
- Available in three widths - 3 cm, 4 cm and 5 cm
It is very important to have as wide a collar on your dog as possible. Wide well fitting collars distribute the weight of the dog over a wider area of the dog's throat and neck when it is lunging or pulling on the lead. The neck and throat of a dog are very sensitive parts of its body and thin collars can act like a garrot, digging into the skin and muscles of the neck, causing damage to the nerves that send messages between the head and the body.
- Kind and soft on your dog's throat and neck - The webbing and metal buckle are surrounded by soft fleece so that no sharp edges rub or cut into your dog's neck and throat
- Makes an ideal house collar and for putting your dog's identity tags on while it is walking on its harness. We highly recommend Indigo Collar Tags - just quote "Dog Games Fleece Lined Collars" when you order
- Very safe and secure to wear
Made with metal buckles & drilled holes. Very different from the usual webbing collars on the market, which use plastic adjusters that slide up and down the length of the collar in order to make it the correct size. Unfortunately, when your dog pulls on those types of collars the adjusters move, stretching it so that the dog can slip out and escape. This will never happen with our collars!
- Available in 12 sizes (with 12 fleece colours and many webbing colours to choose from, in each size), matching the Fleece Lined Harnesses and Leads that we sell
- Made in England from top quality, machine washable fleece (please wash at low temerature and do not tumble dry)

Which size collar should I order? You need to measure the collar that your dog is wearing at present - this will give you a guidline as to what size is suitable. Make sure that this "old" collar is fitted correctly before you take if off (ie. can you slide two fingers flat between the collar and its neck?) and then measure it.
If the "old" collar has a plastic clip, measure from the end of one clip to half way up the other clip. If it is fastened by a buckle, measure from the hole to the centre of the buckle (where the metal prong is).
Do not worry if you find you have ordered the wrong size - we will exchange it for a bigger or smaller size at no extra charge (as long as the label is still attached). We do not charge for the extra cost of P&P.
