The 20mm range is extremely versatile and fits ALL shapes and sizes of small and medium sized dogs.
One of the great advantages of the
Perfect Fit design is that the harness is clipped on around the dog's head, rather than trying to squeeze it over their skulls. This enables the harness to fit really snuggly around the dog's shoulders and front chest, as well as around its body.
The 20mm range of Perfect Fit harnesses is suitable for a wide variety of dogs -
- Small but strong dogs that need a more robust harness than the 15mm range (eg Terrier breeds)
- Dogs with large skulls but small bodies
(eg Companion Dogs such as Shitzus, Tibetan Terrriers, Pugs etc)
- Medium dogs and slightly larger dogs that need a really well fitted harness
(eg Bassetts, Beagles, Belgian Shepherds, Collie breeds, Corgis, Lurchers, Spaniel breeds etc)
- Puppies and adolescents
The Top and Front pieces can be "adult" size while the Girth can be smaller and can be changed as the young dog grows
HOW DO I MEASURE MY DOG TO GET A REALLY GOOD FIT?

TOP - Measure along the dog's spine from the base of its neck to just behind its front legs.
S TOP - 9 cm M TOP - 10 cm L TOP - 11 cm
FRONT- Then measure from the dog's back at the base of the neck, down over its shoulders and front chest, and then between the front legs to its arm pits.
S FRONT - 32 to 42 cm M FRONT - 40 to 50 cm.
GIRTH - Finally, measure your dog's rib cage, just behind its front legs.
S - 41 to 56 cm M - 51 to 66 cm L - 62 to 78 cm XL - 74 to 86 cm
Do not worry too much about the exact measurements as the above are just guidelines. If you find you have got the wrong size, we are happy to exchange any of the pieces for a bigger or smaller size - free of charge and no additional postage or packaging charges. All returned pieces must not show any signs of wear or tear, and all the labels must still be attached. This also applies when asking for a full refund.
