40mm Perfect Fit Harness (£23) - BLACK PADDING pieces

The 40mm range of the Perfect Fit harness is an "absolute must" for the large and giant sized dogs. It combines the softness and superior fit of our smaller ranges with absolute security and peace of mind due to the five heavy-duty clips and army standard strength of webbing.

Its innovative design allows the harness to be clipped around the dog's head, rather than trying to squeeze it over the dog's skull. This enables the harness to fit really snuggly around the dog's shoulders and front chest, as well as around its body, and is particularly suitable for the enormous variety of body shapes encountered with these bigger breeds of dogs, such as -

• Sight hounds with very deep chests (eg Greyhound, Borzio, Saluki, Deer Hound etc)
  
• Large Artic breeds (eg Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamute)
• Guarding breeds (eg Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Dobermann, Briard, Leonberger, Weimaraner, and large strong Staffies)
  
• Giant breeds (eg St Bernard, Irish Wolfhound, Newfoundland, Blood Hound)

  The Top and Front pieces can be "adult" size while the Girth can be smaller and can be changed as the young dog grows

FRONT- Then measure from the dog's back at the base of the neck, down over its shoulders and front chest, and then between the front legs to its arm pits.

M FRONT - 42 to 53 cm          L FRONT - 51 to 66 cm          XL FRONT - 58 to 74 cm

GIRTH - Finally, measure your dog's rib cage, just behind its front legs.
M - 62 to 82 cm       L - 72 to 92 cm      XL - 82 to 102 cm        XXL - 94 to 122 cm

Do not worry too much about the exact measurements as the above are just guidelines. If you find you have got the wrong size, we are happy to exchange any of the pieces for a bigger or smaller size - free of charge and no additional postage or packaging charges. All returned pieces must not show any signs of wear or tear, and all the labels must still be attached. This also applies when asking for a full refund.
