Designed and made by Dog Games to satisfy a dog's chase instincts (especially TERRIER and HERDING BREEDS) it is a very enticing motivator!
The contrast of light and dark colours, as well as the constant movement of the flaps, awakens a dog's instincts to chase and kill the toy - mimicing a bird's flapping wings and feathers as the dog holds the soft toy in its mouth.

The soft fleece flaps prevent the dog injuring itself (particularly around the head and eyes) when the dog is shaking and playing with it. The length of the flaps (or "feathers") may vary in size to that shown in photo.
The Killer Ring can either be used by itself or tied to a piece of rope (or a lead) and dragged along the ground for the dog to chase and "kill".
Many handlers undo the big knot which holds the ring together and then re-tie it so that it hangs on the handle of the lead, ready to be used when required.
Made with high quality, machine washable fleece (which can also be tumble dried)
