Here is a summary of the benefits of this design of harness which was originally invented by Canine Consultant & Behaviourist Sally Hopkins of Dog Games -

EVERY PART OF THE HARNESS IS COVERED IN TOP QUALITY FLEECE -
even the girth strap, which sits just behind the dog's front legs.

COMFORT AND PROTECTION
The fleece padding makes the harness straps very wide and comfortable for the dog to wear, distributing the dog's weight over a wide area and preventing sore spots or rubbing on any part of its body. Click here for more details about the health benefits of walking a dog on a good quality harness.

THE PADDED GIRTH STRAP IS SALLY'S ORIGINAL INVENTION
with strips of strong elastic holding the padding in the correct position and also preventing the adjusters/sliders moving once the harness has been correctly fitted on the dog.

EASY TO PUT ON AND TAKE OFF
There are two clips on the girth strap (either side of the D ring) so that the harness can be clipped around the dog's body without it having to move its legs in any way. Much simpler and kinder for both human and dog!
